Web Seal is a second-generation family business, started by Donald L. Hurley. Don had been a purchasing manager for American Brake Shoe when the company relocated to California, and he decided to start his own industrial company serving the booming manufacturing sector of western NY and the Southern Tier. His son, John F. Hurley, who has worked in the business since he was a teenager, is currently president/CEO. John has an MBA from The University of Miami, FL, and has been active in numerous professional organizations, and local business groups, as well as civic and not-for-profit groups for many years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Web Seal's hallmark over a half-century has been its expertise, ease of doing business, and customer service. Web Seal continues to live out it's founder's values of integrity, flexibility, innovation, compassion and competence.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Headquartered in downtown Rochester, NY, Web Seal is a global B-B supplier serving customers across the US and internationally, with sales representation throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and Southeastern region.
