Leveraging Technology started in 1998 as an integration specialist. Customers soon sought our help with issues beyond the technology. We developed increasingly deeper insights into business architecture and our customers’ upstream challenges. As we did so, we evolved into IT partners and leaders.
Today, customers partner with us for agile development and disciplined project management across the IT lifecycle, in part because our frameworks, proprietary methodologies and unique Capability Partnership are proven to get results. Customers also recognize that our people drive success by mapping projects back to business strategy at virtually every stage -- from assessment, planning and design, to delivery and management.

How long have you been in business?
16 years - the company was founded in 1998 by partners who are involved in the business on a daily basis.
What is your primary product or service?
Information technology and business consulting across all phases of IT lifecycle; we are an IBM Premier Business partner with extensive experience in middleware software, integration and architecture.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The founders worked in systems integration at Eastman Kodak Company prior to founding Leveraging Technology.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Leveraging Technology accounts for the customer's overall business strategy and objectives in our approach to designing and implementing a practical business solution. We partner with clients in unique ways to help them acquire the capabilities they need to grow or transform their business, such as with our Architect-in Residence or Integration Factory approach.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Headquarters is at 4 Commercial Street in Rochester and our Buffalo office is at 482 Delaware Avenue. We have consultants based in other locations but have no specific plans to open other offices at this time.

We currently serve clients in the northeast, midwest, and southeast regions and are not limited by our physical locations and frequently work onsite at client locations in other cities.

Three founding partners plus 2 limited partners, an operations manager, office manager, and 2 additional practice leaders.
What are your hours of operation?
Generally 8 am - 5 pm or as required to meet client needs.
