Studio And Location Commercial Advertising Photographer Located in Rochester
It's really very simple...I love to take pictures.
I grew up in a "photographic family", rasied with a camera in my hands. The Colley family has owned and operated a photo retail store since 1935 in the heart of Pennsylvania and for me, a fun-filled weekend or summer was spent handling the most recent Nikons or the biggest Hasselblad lens I could lift. I always had this weird attraction to cable releases and still can't get enough of them? I was one of those kids who just knew that I wanted to be a shooter.
My first real shooting job was for the Williamsport Sun Gazette shooting as a "Stringer" for their high school sports page. Soon after, I came to Rochester to study at RIT's School of Photographic Arts & Sciences.
After graduation, I began my career working for some of Rochester's most influential shooters learning the nuances of the Commercial Advertising Photography business and over the past 25 years, I've enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients, projects and subjects.
I look at each new project as if it were my first shoot, except now, I can count on all my previous experiences to aid me in the process.
