How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
Massage therapy for relaxation or pain. I tend to focus on massage for pain relief concerning neck, shoulder, back pain or other areas that may cause discomfort.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I wanted to go into the medical field and once I took my first semester of massage in college, I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to use massage to help people with issues such as carpal tunnel, chronic low back pain, neck pain and more.
Before becoming a massage therapist in 2010, I was in the Air Force security forces which is a mix of security and law enforcement in that branch of the military. I was not happy with my role and needed to make a change, so I decided to leave the military after almost seven years, and pursue a career where I knew I would be helping people.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most massage therapists do not travel in the area, and I wanted to make that service available. Whats better than getting a massage in your own home and then not having to go anywhere after? For people who do not feel comfortable with me coming to your home, there's always the option to come see me at my office either in Pittsford, or Perinton.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
For now my service is confined to the general Rochester area. Depending on how far away you are, you may have an additional travel fee imposed depending on how far I have to travel to you. I do have plans on expanding my travel business in 2-3 years as well as open a medical massage clinic in Rochester.
I will also begin providing spa services such as fascials/nails, etc. in the future for spa parties.

For those wanting to come to me: The main office I work at is Canalside Massage located on Shoen Place in the town of Pittsford (36 North Main St.). My other office is located within a chiropractic office right next to the Perinton Square Mall and Tops in Perinton (6800 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd). I can always give more specific directions if needed.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check, Debit/Credit cards. Sorry, no insurance until the state ever changes it's current insurance policies regarding massage therapy.
